I'm a Psychotherapist and transformational facilitator supporting men navigating burnout, anxiety, relationship strain, and the emotional weight of life’s demands.
💪 Brett’s Journey
My own therapeutic journey has been one of profound change - from depression, anxiety and early childhood trauma to a sense of wholeness and peace via the support I’ve received over many years.
These experiences, combined with a decade of working with men of all ages inform how I show up as a practitioner.
As a therapist, I am deeply attentive, curious, and committed to helping others uncover peace, clarity and empowerment beneath all of the noise.
I’m particularly passionate about working with men who feel stuck, exhausted, or overwhelmed by the demands of life — whether that’s managing professional pressures, navigating relationship strain, or coping with a sense of hopelessness about the future.
This personal journey towards self-awareness and balance seeps into my counselling approach, offering a grounded and tranquil space for exploration and growth.
Together, we focus on building emotional resilience, reconnecting with authentic values, cultivating self-compassion, and creating clarity, energy, and focus so they can move forward in life with confidence.
Brett’s Approach
In my practice, I prioritise creating a deeply safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore complex emotions and life situations.
My style is both systemic, and somatic - in that I work to help my clients feel their way into understanding how they, and their lives work.
Openness and mutual respect are central, and I tailor therapy to what each man needs, based on a decades experience supporting men to make empowered, sustainable change.
Working with Men
While our individual experiences differ, many men face overlapping challenges around emotional regulation, societal expectations, and the unspoken rules of masculinity.
I’ve walked the path from exhaustion and internalised pressure toward a more grounded, curious, and compassionate sense of self, and I continue to walk it alongside my clients.
Outside the Therapy Room
Outside the Therapy room, I love to live a wholesome, playful and connected life.
I’m a surfer, freediver, LFC fan, DJ and naturalist who does his imperfect best at being in right relationship with the living earth.
I’m passionate about mythopoetic Menswork, and the transformative power that can awaken in good men, who come together with good intentions.
